Role Description The PhD/Scientist at WarpAD will conduct original research in areas such as quantum algorithms, AI consciousness modeling, space-related computational frameworks, and XR/holographic vision technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and running experiments, developing theoretical models, building and evaluating prototypes, and analyzing complex datasets. The role involves publishing results in peer-reviewed venues, preparing technical reports, and presenting findings to internal teams and external collaborators. The scientist will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and other researchers to integrate new theories into practical applications and contribute to long-term research roadmaps. This is a full-time, on-site position based in EU & India.
Qualifications
- Experience in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more domains: quantum computing/quantum algorithms, AI/ML research, computational neuroscience, or advanced signal/image processing.
- Strong skills in scientific programming and data analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Julia, or similar), including experience with simulation tools or ML frameworks.
- Proven track record of research output, such as peer-reviewed publications, patents, or substantial experimental projects.
- Ability to design and conduct rigorous experiments, formulate hypotheses, and interpret complex results with statistical and analytical methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience or strong interest in topics such as AI consciousness, XR, holographic vision, or space-related technologies is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in an exploratory, interdisciplinary environment and managing multiple research directions with minimal supervision.
