Role Description
This is a contract-based remote role for a PhD Scholar at Soltara AI. The role focuses on conducting cutting-edge research, mentoring students on advanced academic projects, developing research proposals, co-authoring scholarly papers, and contributing to deep-tech product development. Collaboration with students, educators, and global peers will be central to this position, as will the creation of valuable intellectual property and academic publications.
Qualifications
- Expertise in conducting advanced research and academic writing, along with the ability to develop detailed research proposals.
- Experience in mentoring students and guiding collaborative research projects.
- Knowledge of patent filing processes and scholarly publishing, preferably in journals such as IEEE and Springer.
- Technical skills in relevant software or tools specific to the research domain or deep-tech industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- PhD (in progress or completed) in a relevant field preferred, with a track record of publications or patented innovations.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline and adaptability.
- Desirable: Experience in interdisciplinary research, global academic collaboration, or technology-focused education.
