PhD Research & Admissions Mentor – Social Work & Child Protection (Australia)


Dream Ladder Consultancy is seeking a PhD-qualified mentor in Social Work & Child Protection (Australia) to guide Indian students applying to fully funded PhD programs in Australia.


Eligibility (Mandatory):

• You must have completed your PhD in Social Work / Child Protection from an Australian university

OR

• You must be currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work / Child Protection at an Australian university


Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.


Role Responsibilities

• Provide structured mentorship to PhD applicants (10 virtual sessions per student)

• Review and give detailed academic feedback on research proposals, SOPs, CVs, and research statements

• Guide students on Australian PhD admissions processes, funding (RTP/scholarships), supervision models, and research expectations

• Help students refine research questions, methodology, and theoretical positioning

• Remain reasonably responsive to academic queries between sessions


Engagement Structure

• Contract-based (independent mentor role)

• 10 mandatory sessions per assigned student

• Payment terms (50% at onboarding, 50% after completion)

• Weekend sessions preferred

• Strict confidentiality and non-solicitation obligations apply
