Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site PhD position at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, located in Chennai. As a PhD candidate, you will conduct advanced research in your chosen field of study, participate in academic and interdisciplinary projects, and contribute to the university’s research output through publications, conferences, and collaborations. The role also involves assisting in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as contributing to departmental academic activities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in domain-specific research with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in academic writing, data analysis, and using research methodologies and tools
- Experience in publishing research papers in peer-reviewed journals or conferences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment
- Good communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Master’s degree in a relevant field with strong academic credentials (Candidates with research experience will have an added advantage)
- Passion for research and academic development
