Role Overview
As a Business Analyst - Forecasting, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining forecast models that drive strategic decisions for the client. Leveraging your 2–4 years of experience in forecasting or commercial analytics, you’ll collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-impact insights, support product commercialization, and refine forecasting methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop patient-based and TRx-based forecast models, integrating market data, epidemiology and sales trends
- Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate market uncertainties and assess potential outcomes
- Gather and analyze secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, DRG, Symphony) to refine forecast assumptions
- Transform raw datasets into clear, actionable insights using Excel, Power BI, or other visualization tools
- Collaborate with senior analysts and consultants to refine forecasting models, address client queries, and present insights
- Conduct competitive intelligence research to benchmark forecasts against market trends and competitor strategies
- Prepare structured documentation, slides, and reports for client presentations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables under tight timelines.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, or related roles in the bio-pharmaceutical sector
- Strong Excel modeling skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R is a plus
- Basic understanding of drug development, commercialization strategies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working in teams and engaging with clients
- Familiarity with secondary data sources (IQVIA, Symphony, DRG) and handling large datasets is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting project needs
