Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management or related field.
Proven experience in pharmaceutical procurement or purchase management.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Good understanding of pharma products, pricing, and supply chain.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Procurement Management:
Plan and execute the purchase of pharmaceutical products in line with company requirements.
Ensure timely availability of stock while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency.
Maintain strong and long-term relationships with vendors.
Margin & Profit Analysis:
Conduct detailed margin analysis to ensure profitability.
Monitor and analyze product-wise profit margins and suggest improvements.
Perform discount analysis to balance competitiveness and profitability.
Purchase Order Management:
Create, review, and process purchase orders accurately.
Track order status and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
B2B Operations:
Handle bulk purchase requirements and coordinate with distributors, hospitals, and institutional clients.
Develop strategies to improve B2B sales and partnerships.
B2C & Patient Handling:
Oversee retail-level purchasing to meet patient/customer demands.
Ensure availability of essential medicines and handle customer queries professionally.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
Maintain proper documentation and records of purchases and vendor agreements.
