Role Description
The Pharmacy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sitapur, responsible for overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations within partner healthcare facilities. The role includes supervising pharmacy staff, managing medication inventory, ensuring accurate prescription dispensing, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and institutional policies. The Pharmacy Manager will implement standardized workflows, support automated processes, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize service quality and operational efficiency. In addition, this role will monitor financial performance of the pharmacy, contribute to cost control and revenue enhancement initiatives, and uphold high standards of patient safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice, including strong knowledge of medications, dosing, and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Pharmacy Technicians, including supervision, training, and performance oversight.
- Candidates should possess skills in handling Prescriptions, including verification, dispensing accuracy, and medication counseling.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Immunization services, including vaccine storage, administration protocols, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm) from an accredited institution; valid registration with the relevant pharmacy council.
- Experience in hospital or institutional pharmacy management, including inventory control, procurement, and billing systems.
- Familiarity with technology-enabled pharmacy systems, and comfort working with healthcare IT platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and maintain high standards of patient safety and ethics.
