Role Description The Pharmacy College Principal is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at Aryans Group of Colleges in Rajpura. This role is responsible for overseeing the overall academic, administrative, and operational functioning of the pharmacy college, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising faculty and staff, guiding curriculum development, monitoring teaching quality, and supporting research and professional development initiatives. The Principal will manage admissions processes, student affairs, and examination conduct, while maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies, industry partners, and professional councils. The role also involves strategic planning, budget oversight, and promoting a culture of ethics, quality, and safety in pharmacy education and practice.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic qualifications in Pharmacy (preferably PhD or equivalent), with eligibility as per AICTE and accreditation bodies.
- Proven experience in academic leadership, such as Head of Department, Vice Principal, or similar roles in a pharmacy or health sciences institution.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy curricula, regulatory requirements, accreditation processes, and quality assurance in higher education.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, academic administration, policy formulation, and institutional governance.
- Experience in mentoring faculty, supporting research, and fostering a collaborative and student-focused learning environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Competence in basic digital tools and learning management systems to support academic operations and modern teaching methods.
- Commitment to ethical practices, inclusivity, and continuous improvement in pharmacy education and professional standards.
