Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role in Chennai. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, ensuring accurate prescriptions, and educating patients about the proper use and potential side effects of medications. The role involves maintaining inventory, verifying dosages, and adhering to pharmaceutical regulations. Additionally, the Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimum patient care and will maintain meticulous records to ensure compliance and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmacological principles, drug classifications, and their proper applications.
- Proficiency in reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, and patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions to patients and consult with healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage inventory effectively.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities for addressing patient concerns and resolving prescription discrepancies.
- B Pharm degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacy license in the respective state or eligibility to obtain one.
- Prior experience in a clinical, hospital, or retail pharmacy setting is a plus.
