Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist at Janani Mithra Co-operative's pharmacy in Kochi. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medication accurately, providing expert advice to customers regarding prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. The role also includes counseling patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects, managing stock levels efficiently, and supporting the overall operations of the pharmacy to ensure optimal service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of pharmacy practices, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations
- Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively educate patients about medication usage and potential side effects
- Ability to manage inventory, maintain pharmacy records accurately, and ensure compliance with local regulatory standards
- Problem-solving and team collaboration skills to support smooth pharmacy operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field, with a valid license to practice pharmacy in India
- Familiarity with the goals of accessible and affordable healthcare services is an advantage
