Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam for a Pharmacist. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, counsel patients regarding prescriptions, and provide guidance on the safe use and storage of medications. The role also involves maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care. Additionally, the Pharmacist will assist in promoting the availability of affordable medication and support community healthcare initiatives.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practices, medication dispensing, and pharmaceutical regulations
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills, with the ability to explain medication use effectively
- Analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail in inventory management and adherence to regulatory standards
- Proficiency in maintaining records, prescriptions, and compliance documentation
- Registered Pharmacist qualification and relevant certifications
- Experience in community pharmacy or healthcare-focused settings is an advantage
- Commitment to providing accessible and affordable healthcare to communities
