Roles & Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately and safely in accordance with valid prescriptions.
- Review prescriptions to ensure the correct medicine, dosage, quantity, and instructions are provided.
- Guide patients on the proper use of medicines, dosage, precautions, and storage requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of medicine stock, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the concerned team for timely procurement of medicines.
- Ensure medicines are stored appropriately and in compliance with required storage conditions.
- Handle billing, prescription records, and other pharmacy-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, healthcare regulations, and internal procedures.
- Assist customers with basic queries related to medicines and their appropriate usage.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals whenever clarification or support is required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
- Ensure medicines are dispensed only through proper procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
