Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist, based in Bengaluru. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing advice on the use of both prescription and over-the-counter medicines, counseling patients on appropriate treatments, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the inventory of pharmaceutical products, supporting operational processes, and delivering excellent customer service to promote community well-being.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, and pharmaceutical practices
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills to counsel patients and engage with customers effectively
- Attention to detail, accuracy in processing prescriptions, and adherence to compliance regulations
- Experience with inventory management and familiarity with pharmaceutical products
- A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is required, with a valid registration/license from the Pharmacy Council
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy or customer-facing roles is desirable
