Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Chennai. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, providing accurate drug information, and advising patients on the proper use of medications. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, ensuring product quality, and adhering to regulatory compliance and safety standards. Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating effectively with healthcare providers will also be key functions of this role.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medication dispensing, and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist and educate customers
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records and prescriptions
- Proficiency in operating pharmacy management systems and handling prescription software
- Ability to work effectively in team settings, manage time efficiently, and deliver excellent customer service
- Possession of a valid Pharmacy License and a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm)
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is an added advantage
