Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position in Hyderabad for a Pharma Packaging Materials Purchase/Procurement Manager. The role involves managing the procurement of packaging materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards, liaising with vendors, and driving cost-efficient purchasing strategies. The manager will also coordinate closely with the packaging design and engineering teams, ensure adherence to packaging specifications, and maintain inventory levels to support production needs. Additional responsibilities include monitoring market trends, implementing best practices in procurement, and collaborating with quality control teams to uphold high standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Packing and Packaging Design
- Familiarity with Packaging Engineering and its operational procedures
- Strong understanding of Quality Control processes and standards in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in conducting Research related to packaging materials and procurement strategies
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and procurement tools is advantageous
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is a plus
