Job Summary:
A Clinical/Pharma Recruiter specializing in US staffing is responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting highly qualified candidates for Life Sciences roles within the United States. This role requires a deep understanding of the US Life Sciences market, immigration laws, and a proven track record of successful recruitment within the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- US Market Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the US Life Sciences industries.
- Immigration Compliance: Ensure compliance with US immigration laws and regulations, such as visa sponsorship (CPT, OPT, H1B, GC) and H-1B applications.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks to identify potential candidates in the US.
- Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates, including phone interviews and video interviews.
- Candidate Evaluation: Evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, cultural fit, and ability to relocate within US.
- Negotiation: Negotiate salary, benefits, and relocation packages with candidates.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including visa processing, relocation assistance, and cultural orientation.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent in the US Life Sciences industries.
- Employer Branding: Enhance the company's employer brand in the US market to attract and retain top talent.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in US Life Sciences Industries.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Account managers, HR teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related Life Science field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in US Life Science recruitment.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for Life Science roles within the US.
- Strong understanding of US immigration laws and processes, including visa sponsorship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and Account managers in the US.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
