Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a PGT Social Studies teacher, based in Lucknow. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with the school curriculum. This includes preparing lesson plans, teaching higher secondary-level students, conducting assessments, fostering critical and analytical thinking, and guiding students in co-curricular projects related to Social Studies. The role also involves participating in staff meetings, collaborating with other teachers, and engaging in school activities to enhance students' learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Social Studies subjects, including History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create interactive and productive learning environments
- Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment preparation, and syllabus management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and collaborate with colleagues
- Passion for teaching and guiding students for their academic and personal development
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching methodologies
- Master's degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, or a related field along with a B.Ed. degree
- Previous teaching experience in a similar role is highly desirable
