Role Description The PGT Physics educator will teach Physics to senior secondary students, plan and deliver engaging classroom lessons, and design assessments in alignment with CBSE curriculum and school guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting laboratory activities and demonstrations, evaluating student performance, and providing academic support through doubt-clearing and remedial sessions. The role involves integrating technology into teaching, maintaining accurate academic records, and collaborating with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and co-curricular initiatives. The educator will participate in parent–teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs to enhance teaching practices. This is a full-time, on-site role located at Sunbeam School Mughalsarai in Mughalsarai.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics and experience in teaching senior secondary Physics education.
- Understanding of Theoretical Physics concepts and ability to simplify complex topics for learners.
- Awareness of applied areas such as Radiation and Medical Physics to connect syllabus content with real-world contexts.
- Postgraduate degree in Physics (or a closely related discipline) and a B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification.
- Experience with CBSE curriculum at senior secondary level and familiarity with board exam patterns.
- Effective classroom management, clear communication skills, and the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Comfort with using educational technology, digital tools, and laboratory equipment for instructional purposes.
- Commitment to holistic student development, participation in co-curricular activities, and continuous professional growth.
