Role Description The PGT Maths role is a full-time, on-site teaching position based at Modern School in Ghaziabad. The role involves planning and delivering engaging and conceptually clear mathematics lessons for senior classes, aligned with the school curriculum and academic standards. The educator will assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, provide constructive feedback, and support learners who need additional help. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, maintaining classroom discipline, integrating appropriate teaching aids and technology, and participating in staff meetings, parent interactions, and school events. The role also includes contributing to curriculum enhancement and promoting an inclusive, learner-centered classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
- Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for teaching, collaboration, and interaction with parents and colleagues.
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Prior experience teaching mathematics at senior secondary level (PGT) is highly desirable.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and a learner-centered teaching approach.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with the school’s values and academic standards.
