Role Description The PGT English role is a full-time, on-site position based at The Knowledge Habitat campus in Gurugram. The educator will plan and deliver engaging English lessons for senior grades, aligned with CBSE requirements and the school’s academic standards. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining detailed academic records. The role also involves guiding students in literature and language skills, facilitating discussions, supporting exam preparation, and integrating co-curricular and interdisciplinary learning. The PGT English faculty member will collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events and professional development sessions, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and growth-oriented classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching expertise with experience in CBSE secondary and senior curriculum and literature and language pedagogy.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom delivery, empathetic interaction with learners, and effective collaboration with guardians and colleagues.
- Master’s degree in English or a closely related discipline, with B.Ed. (or equivalent formal teacher training) preferred.
- Prior experience teaching English at the senior school level, ideally in CBSE
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning platforms to enhance classroom instruction and assessment.
