Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Economics and Accountancy located in Punjab, India. The role requires delivering engaging and effective lectures, preparing curriculum and lesson plans, assessing and evaluating student performance, and providing individualized academic support to enhance students' conceptual understanding. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and participate in department initiatives designed to drive academic excellence and holistic development among students.
Qualifications
- Subject-Matter Expertise: Strong knowledge of Economics and Accountancy concepts, curriculum standards, and real-world applications.
- Instructional Skills: Proven ability to deliver engaging lessons, develop innovative teaching strategies, and use effective classroom management.
- Assessment and Feedback: Competence in designing assessments, evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting student improvement.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team and engage with students constructively.
- Qualifications: A postgraduate degree in Economics or Accountancy, along with a recognized teaching qualification or B.Ed. Basic computer proficiency is advantageous for curriculum development and student tracking. Experience in a similar teaching role is a plus.
