Role Description
The PGT Computer Science role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mussoorie. We are looking for a lady candidate for the position. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing lesson plans, delivering engaging and effective classroom sessions in Computer Science for senior secondary students, and preparing them for their examinations. Additional responsibilities include guiding students in practical implementations, introducing them to programming concepts, overseeing software development projects, and fostering creativity and critical thinking. The teacher will also collaborate with other faculty members to integrate technology into educational practices and provide personalized guidance to students when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Computer Science, Programming, and Software Development
- Solid understanding of Informatics and technology-related concepts
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and fellow faculty
- Passion for teaching, mentoring students, and nurturing an interest in technology
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching senior secondary academic curriculum is preferred
- Patience, adaptability, and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment
- Working knowledge of current trends in educational technology
