We are looking experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher for a reputed CBSE School.
Role Description The PGT Chemistry Teacher will teach advanced Chemistry to senior secondary students, following the prescribed curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing teaching materials, conducting practical sessions in the laboratory, and assessing student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations. The teacher will provide academic guidance, maintain classroom discipline, and collaborate with other faculty members to support a positive learning environment. This is a full-time, on-site role , requiring regular interaction with students, parents, and school administration.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Chemistry Education expertise, with a solid understanding of senior secondary Chemistry concepts and practical applications.
- Candidates should possess effective Teaching skills, including the ability to manage classrooms, engage diverse learners, and evaluate student progress.
- Candidates should possess Lesson Planning abilities to design structured, curriculum-aligned, and outcome-focused instructional plans.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for explaining complex topics, providing feedback, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess basic Physics knowledge to support interdisciplinary teaching where required.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field, along with B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training, are preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level and familiarity with national or international school boards is beneficial.
- Strong classroom management, student mentoring capabilities, and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education are advantageous.
