PGT Chemistry Teacher – Job Description
Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry
Location: Banga, Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, Punjab
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Job Type: Full-time
Classes: Senior Secondary
Key Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry to Classes XI–XII according to CBSE / State Board syllabus.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and study materials.
Conduct practical laboratory experiments and ensure safety in the lab.
Evaluate students through tests, assignments, and exams.
Guide students in board exam preparation and science projects.
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school activities
Requirements
Required Qualifications
M.Sc. in Chemistry (mandatory)
B.Ed. degree preferred / required
Good communication and classroom management skills
1–5 years teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school preferred
Skills
Strong knowledge of Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Good English communication
Lab management and experiment demonstration
Benefits
