Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry at the SRMPS campus in Lucknow. The PGT Chemistry will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging chemistry lessons for senior secondary students in alignment with the prescribed curriculum. The role includes preparing laboratory experiments, conducting practical sessions, supervising students’ research projects, and evaluating their progress. Teachers are also expected to provide mentorship and foster curiosity and critical thinking within students to enhance their understanding of chemistry concepts.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry and ability to perform and explain laboratory experiments effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to encourage problem-solving and critical thinking among students.
- Proven research and development (R&D) capabilities, along with experience in guiding students in academic projects.
- Exceptional communication skills to facilitate engaging and effective teaching.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field, along with B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proficiency in designing lesson plans and employing modern pedagogical techniques is highly desirable.
- Previous teaching experience in a similar capacity is preferred, particularly within CBSE or equivalent school systems.
