Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry based in Shillong. The PGT Chemistry will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons in alignment with the prescribed curriculum, conducting practical laboratory activities, and assessing students through exams and assignments. The teacher will also guide students in research projects, participate in academic planning, and foster a collaborative and inspiring learning environment to support student achievement and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core Chemistry subject knowledge and a strong foundation in Research and Development (R&D)
- Excellent Analytical Skills and the ability to solve complex problems effectively
- Proven Communication skills for clear and effective instruction and collaboration with students and staff
- Hands-on Laboratory Skills for conducting practical experiments and ensuring student safety
- Relevant teaching qualifications, such as a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities
- Previous experience in teaching Chemistry at the higher secondary level is an asset
