Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in Chemistry and Biology, located in Punjab, India. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons in Chemistry and Biology, designing educational content, assessing student progress, providing individualized academic support, and preparing students for exams. Additionally, the candidate will actively participate in school activities, collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies, and stay updated with advancements in pedagogy and scientific knowledge.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Chemistry and fundamental concepts in Biology
- Proficient in Analytical Skills, Laboratory Skills, and a keen interest in Research and Development (R&D)
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts effectively
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and encouraging student success
- M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biology, or an equivalent postgraduate degree in a related field; a teaching certification is preferred
- Proven teaching experience in secondary or higher secondary education is advantageous
