Role Description The PG Teacher for Chemistry will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons for higher secondary students, ensuring alignment with the school’s academic standards and board curriculum. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting practical sessions in the chemistry laboratory, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, academic planning, and school events, while supporting students with doubt clarification and exam preparation. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Sri Mahalakshmi Matric Hr. Sec School in Sankarankovil.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience in handling higher secondary Chemistry curriculum.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to design structured, syllabus-aligned theory and practical sessions.
- Candidates should possess clear and student-centered Communication skills for classroom instruction and interaction with parents and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to guide students in laboratory safety, exam preparation, and academic improvement.
- Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry and B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Ability to manage classrooms, maintain discipline, and create an inclusive, motivating learning environment.
- Familiarity with modern teaching aids, basic computer skills, and willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
