REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Education: CPR certification, first aid training, AED training, and Concussion
Awareness training are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Knowledge of basic fundamentals and skills involved with coaching bowling
● Previous experience working with high school age students to train and foster their
development in the sport
● Ability to instill good sportsmanship, discipline, leadership, sense of self pride and
confidence into your players.
● Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents and appropriate staff regarding
team procedures, student and team expectations, and student athlete issues.
● Ability to motivate and encourage student athletes and resolve conflicts in a positive,
productive manner.
● Exercise good judgment and has the ability to make responsible decisions
● Place an emphasis on academic performance
● Serves as a role model to student athletes, both on and off the court
● Ability to follow MHSAA rules and regulations
● Ability to follow and enforce all policies of Pewamo Westphalia Community Schools
● Perform such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned
