BACKGROUND

Remote and onsite candidates may be considered for this position.

Petmate headquarters are in Arlington, Texas, in the heart of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Come be a part of our team.

The internship program will be a paid, 10-week program beginning June 2025. Our interns can expect to work 40 hrs./wk. during the 10-week period. Flexible work schedules may be available.

SCOPE

Our Summer Program Allows Students To Gain Exposure And Understanding Of Various Careers In The Manufacturing And Distribution Industry. Interns In This Program Will Gain Exposure To The Following Areas

• Category Management:
• Data software (ACNielsen, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
• In-store comp shops
• Market and consumer insights research
• POS reporting
• Sales Planning:
• Assist in preparing cancellation reports
• Review and update event and promotional planning schedule and tracker
  

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate for this program will be an undergraduate in good standing at a senior level enrolled in a business-related program (statistics, economics, data science, competitive intelligence, or marketing).

Skills & Certifications

• Experience with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access
• Knowledge of and/or experience with computer programming: Python or other
• Knowledge of and/or experience with Data Visualization Development: Tableau or Power BI
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong presentation skills
• Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others
• Interact effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization
• Able to type data and use a PC for extended periods of time
