<br>As a Pet Groomer, you’re pawsitively passionate about people and their pets. You’ll deliver exceptional, neighborly service while providing expert <strong>dog grooming services</strong> in a safe and welcoming <strong>pet grooming salon</strong>. Whether you’re turning a muddy mess into a proud pup, grooming to breed standards, or customizing a look based on a pet parent’s request, you play a key role in helping pets look and feel their best while building lasting relationships with their owners.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></div><ul>
<li>Provide full-service <strong>dog grooming</strong> including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling</li>
<li> Groom to <strong>breed standards</strong> or customize based on each pet parent’s request</li>
<li> Safely handle and groom dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments</li>
<li> Deliver a grooming experience that gives every pet their best “spaw day”</li>
<li> Build relationships with neighbors and recommend <strong>pet products and services</strong>
</li>
<li>Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in your care</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized <strong>grooming salon environment</strong>
</li>
<li>Support store events and help grow your client base through great service</li>
<li>Assist store team members as needed during grooming downtime</li>
<li>Continue developing <strong>grooming techniques and skills</strong> to grow your career</li>

</ul><div><strong>Requirements and Responsibilities</strong></div><ul>
<li>1+ year of professional <strong>pet grooming, dog grooming, or pet stylist</strong> experience</li>
<li> High School Diploma or GED required</li>
<li> Experience with <strong>breed-standard cuts, hand scissoring, clipping, and finishing techniques</strong>
</li>
<li>Strong understanding of <strong>animal behavior and safe handling practices</strong>
</li>
<li>Ability to lift, move, and handle pets or equipment up to 65 lbs</li>
<li>Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods</li>
<li>Ability to provide your own <strong>grooming tools and equipment</strong> (clippers, blades, shears, etc.)</li>
<li> Strong communication and <strong>customer service skills</strong>
</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>Must be 18+ years old and able to meet hiring requirements set by the local franchise owner</li>
