Role Description The Pet Groomer role at Pawrentz is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Pet Groomer is responsible for bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to requested specifications and breed standards, while ensuring their comfort and safety. Daily tasks include checking pets in, reviewing grooming requirements with clients, documenting services, and maintaining a clean, hygienic grooming area and equipment. The role involves monitoring animals for signs of stress or health concerns, handling them gently and securely, and communicating clearly with pet guardians about grooming results and follow-up care. The Pet Groomer collaborates with other team members to support smooth operations, uphold animal welfare standards, and deliver a welcoming, professional experience to every client.
Qualifications
- Strong Animal Care and Animal Welfare skills, with the ability to handle pets safely, calmly, and respectfully.
- Hands-on Pet Care experience, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and coat maintenance.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients, understand requests, and provide clear updates.
- Basic knowledge of grooming tools, techniques, and safety procedures; prior grooming experience is highly beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple appointments, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and working cooperatively within a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; professional grooming training or certification is an advantage.
