Role Description The Personal Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Peoples University campus in Bhopal. The officer is responsible for providing close protection to designated university personnel, ensuring their safety during movement within the campus and, when required, to external locations. Daily tasks include monitoring surroundings, assessing potential risks, escorting individuals between locations, and coordinating with campus security and administration. The role involves maintaining secure access to restricted areas, responding calmly and efficiently to incidents or emergencies, and documenting security observations or events. The Personal Security Officer is expected to uphold professional conduct, follow university security protocols, and contribute to an overall safe environment for the academic community.
Qualifications
- Candidates Must have All India Gun License
- Candidates Must have his own weapon
- Candidates should possess physical fitness, stamina, and the ability to respond quickly and safely in emergency situations.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of basic security procedures, access control practices, and incident reporting.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is beneficial.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional security or safety certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events, as needed by the university.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
