The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Risk and Compliance team you’ll oversee personal independence compliance, guiding partners and staff to uphold trust with clients. As a Senior Associate, you’ll analyze complex compliance requirements, mentor junior team members, and navigate regulatory changes to maintain PwC UK's integrity. This role offers the chance to develop meaningful client relationships while enhancing your problem-solving and critical thinking skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with personal independence regulations
- Conduct assessments to identify potential risks and issues
- Develop and implement compliance training programs
- Collaborate with teams to address compliance challenges
- Analyze data to inform compliance strategies and decisions
- Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and leading practices
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities and findings
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in compliance processes
- Oversee the usage of Checkpoint, supporting independence compliance and analysis related to financial interests of partners, staff, and immediate families
- Conduct detailed reviews of investment holdings, tax returns, self-declarations, and Checkpoint entries.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
