We're looking for someone who enjoys building products from the ground up.
This role will be responsible for developing skincare, suncare, and personal care formulations, evaluating new ingredients, running lab trials, and working closely with manufacturers to bring products to market.
What You'll Do
- Develop new formulations across skincare, suncare, and personal care categories.
- Evaluate ingredients, actives, and technologies for performance, stability and cost.
- Conduct formulation trials and iterate based on testing results.
- Design and oversee stability, compatibility, and performance testing.
- Work with manufacturing partners during scale-up and production.
- Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing issues as they arise.
- Maintain formulation records and technical documentation.
- Keep up with new ingredients, formulation approaches and industry developments.
What We're Looking For
- Background in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on formulation experience in skincare, suncare, or personal care products.
- Strong understanding of emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, active ingredients and stability testing.
- Comfortable working independently and solving formulation challenges.
- Experience working with external manufacturers is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing SPF/suncare products.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements across India & US markets.
- Experience taking products from concept to commercial launch.
We're less concerned about job titles and more interested in someone who has built products, understands formulation science and enjoys turning ideas into market-ready products.
