Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow/Hardoi/ Delhi for a Personal Cameraman & Video Editor working closely with a Member of Parliament (MP). The role involves accompanying the MP to events, meetings, public appearances, and travel to capture high-quality video content in real time. Responsibilities include planning shoots, operating cameras and related equipment, recording interviews and speeches, and ensuring timely coverage of key activities. The Video Editor component of the role includes selecting footage, editing videos for various digital platforms, adding graphics and motion elements, and optimizing content for social media and other channels. The person in this role will collaborate with the communication and digital teams to align content with campaign strategy, maintain an organized media archive, and ensure all outputs reflect the MP’s public image and messaging objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including camera operation, audio capture, and basic lighting.
- Proficiency in video editing and video color grading using industry-standard software.
- Ability to create motion graphics and integrate graphic elements into video content.
- Experience producing content for digital platforms and social media channels.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site, travel frequently with the MP, and handle dynamic, fast-paced schedules.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in political, journalism, or documentary-style video work is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English for effective coordination and content understanding.
- Relevant education or certification in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred.
