About the role

The Senior Project Manager has the authority to oversee the project(s) on a daily basis. Manage resources, schedules, financials, and ensure adherence to quality standards. This includes managing issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure on-time delivery. Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing project execution. The Senior Project Manager will oversee day-to-day project operations. Ensure the project delivers the required outcomes within time and cost constraints and achieves the intended business benefits. Responsibilities: Manage complex initiatives spanning one or multiple business areas. Lead the project team, motivating members to achieve project goals and meet key milestones. Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to deployment. Ensure alignment of related projects with strategic objectives. Monitor project success criteria, key metrics, and deployment activities. Collaborate in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork and innovation. Contribute to best practices, templates, and tools to improve project management. Develop estimates and detailed project plans for all project phases. Secure resources to meet project objectives within timeframes. Manage daily project activities and facilitate team meetings. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback. Provide regular updates on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues. Ensure solutions align with client goals and industry best practices. Manage project scope and change requests effectively. Participate in feasibility studies, vendor evaluations, and proposal reviews. Maintain internal quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Address disputes, negotiations, and issue resolutions as needed. Oversee project engagement, including planning, vendor management, communication, resources, budgeting, and risk management. Set and manage project expectations while tracking deliverables across teams and stakeholders. Create and present progress reports and documentation to project teams and senior management. Foster relationships with project stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor. Mentor and lead the project team, ensuring effective communication with leadership. Maintain project alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Manage risks and issues to minimize impacts. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. At least 10 years of IT project management experience, with at least four full project lifecycles completed. Extensive experience with SDLC methodologies, Agile, and Scrum. Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Proven problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments. Strong relationship-building skills with business leaders to drive consensus and resolve problems. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation). Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to manage shifting demands and timelines. Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience negotiating vendor contracts. Expertise in drafting and managing budgets, making necessary adjustments. Proven track record of successfully leading projects to completion on time and within budget. Ability to influence key stakeholders and secure buy-in from executives and teams.
