About The Role
The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for providing administrative and organizational support for the Purchasing Department.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, policy changes, reports, etc. for Purchasing Department.
- Prepare and distribute Vendor Grades using Excel and Outlook.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly rebate analysis.
- Assist with data entry, email notifications, distributing various reports and other miscellaneous duties.
- Receive and distribute mail for Purchasing Department.
- Manage the office supplies for the Purchasing Department.
- Coordinate incoming vendor correspondence (such as acknowledgment letters), to ensure vendor/subcontractor policy compliance.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for Purchasing and Estimating Departments.
What We’re Looking For
- College degree preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative support experience.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
