Resident - Frontend & Fullstack - SF

Build with Perplexity. We’re excited to announce our new Resident Program for exceptional Frontend and Full Stack engineers early in their career. This is an intensive program in which you will work directly alongside our Product Engineering team to build and launch new features. Highlights: 3-months, full-time, in-person in SF. Details: This program offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates and those in the early stages of their careers to gain valuable experience in a rapidly growing AI startup. Outstanding performers will be offered a full time position at the end of the program. Tech Stack: NextJS | TypeScript | Python | Docker | AWS | Vercel Responsibilities Building new 0-1 products at large scale Working closely with Product, Design and AI teams to build delightful new features Developing and scaling Perplexity's suite of applications as we grow Monitoring, debugging, and fixing issues in deployed applications Qualifications Ability to pick up and apply new concepts very quickly Strong programming skills Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks A passion for shipping high quality products Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Schedule Take home project: 1/2/25 -1/5/25 Virtual onsite interviews: 1/13/25 - 1/14/25 First in-person Residency class: 2/3-4/25 (3 month residency)
