About the role
Perplexity is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer to build an Enterprise AI Assistant that transforms the way teams work. In this role, you'll translate cutting-edge AI advances into intuitive, engaging, and performant user-facing features.

Responsibilities
Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to develop and ship enterprise-focused front-end features.
Build intuitive, high-performance user experiences tailored to enterprise customers.
Develop front-end solutions for multi-tenancy, admin controls, and enterprise analytics.
Collaborate on 0-1 initiatives that expand Perplexity's enterprise capabilities at scale.
Advocate for front-end best practices, including accessibility, performance, and security.
Qualifications
4+ years of industry experience in software engineering with a strong focus on front-end development.
Deep expertise in building modern, responsive UIs with Next.js and TypeScript.
Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level SaaS products, ideally in AI, search, or knowledge management.
Understanding of authentication and security best practices for enterprise applications.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
Solid quantitative understanding of data and experimentation to drive product decisions.
Passion for shipping high-quality, impactful products for enterprise customers.
Preferred
Experience integrating front-end applications with enterprise tools and APIs.
Familiarity with AI/RAG-powered applications.
Knowledge of large-scale search and retrieval systems.
Understanding of enterprise compliance, authentication, and security frameworks.
