Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data generation: Develop petrochemical and refinery GC-MS application data for fuels, refinery gas, sulfur/nitrogen compounds, VOCs, and trace hydrocarbons to support marketing, sales tools, and competitive positioning.
  • Customer-Facing Technical Support: Provide expert GC/GC-MS application support, troubleshooting, and method optimization for petrochemical, refinery, and chemical industry customers.
  • VOC, Demo & Pre-Sales Support: Lead VOC engagements, customer demos, and proof-of-concept studies to support commercial teams across India and SEA.
  • Application Development: Develop and validate GC-MS methods aligned with ASTM, UOP, GPA, and ISO standards for energy and petrochemical workflows.
  • Training & Enablement: Deliver customer trainings, webinars, and internal sales enablement programs.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and R&D; create application notes, workflows, and technical collateral.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years’ experience working with GC and/or GC/MS technologies.
  • Petrochemical Industries work experience preferable
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute experiments with minimal supervision.
  • University degree in relevant field
  • Ph.D. scientist in relevant field
