Performance Test Engineer / Performance Tester
Location- Gurgaon
Exp-5+yrs Relevant exp in Performance Test Engineer / Performance Tester
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop performance test plans, test scenarios, and scripts.
- Execute load, stress, spike, and endurance testing.
- Monitor application performance such as response time, throughput, CPU, and memory usage.
- Identify performance bottlenecks in application, database, or infrastructure.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed performance reports.
- Work with developers and DevOps teams to optimize application performance.
- Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools.
- Perform capacity planning and scalability testing.
🛠Tools Commonly Required
Experience with performance testing tools such as:
- Apache JMeter
- LoadRunner
- Gatling
- k6
- BlazeMeter
Monitoring tools may include:
- Dynatrace
- AppDynamics
- Grafana
💡 Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts (Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance).
- Experience in test scripting and parameterization.
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, and Web Services testing.
- Basic understanding of Java, JavaScript, or scripting languages.
- Knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to analyze logs, server metrics, and monitoring dashboards.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
5+years experience in performance testing or QA.
- Experience with web applications, APIs, or microservices testing.
