Job Title: Performance Test Engineer (Senior/Lead)
Work Location: Pune / Hyderabad/ Bengaluru/ Chennai / Nagpur

Job Description
Required skills: minimum 5 years of experience with performance testing and benchmarking in an Application Development, QA, and/or Production environment
- Strong experience with at least one performance testing tool like WebLoad (preferred), JMeter or Loadrunner
- Expertise in Performance Engineering process – Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Sizing and Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management, Performance test analysis
- Exposure on performance bottleneck identification and detailed analysis of performance metrics including CPU, Memory, Disk, I/O, Connections, Transactions etc.
- PHP Performance profiling experience (including thread and heap dump analysis) to help debug issues around memory leak, thread, connections, sessions etc.
- Strong experience with various monitoring tools such as New Relic (preferred), Splunk (preferred), Extrahop, vSphere, Solarwinds Orion etc.
- Experience with Developer tools, Fiddler, and traffic capture tools such as Wireshark
- Experienced with Apache/Tomcat web servers and JBoss web application development.
- Detailed knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and SQL queries.
- Strong Application and Database debugging experience
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams/stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work off hours for testing
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for evaluating and recommending the right performance testing tool for the application while working with the enterprise architects
- Responsible for educating project owners on performance engineering process, standards, continuous value add
- Script, Execute, Analyze, Document and Report performance test results to project teams
- Perform as single point of escalation for performance engineering delivery issues
- Perform as a single point of contact for performance engineering status on all active project work
- Lead and mentor junior members of performance engineering team on technical best practice and standardized process
