Role Overview:
You'll own Gumlet's paid growth engine end to end — strategy, execution, measurement, and
optimization across every performance channel. This is a hands-on, data-driven role for someone who loves running experiments, obsesses over CAC and payback, and can speak to both a developer audience and a marketing/business buyer. You'll work closely with content, product, and design to grow qualified leads, demo bookings, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax), Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging channels (Reddit, X, Quora, native, review sites like G2/Capterra).
- Own the full paid funnel — from impression to signup to activation to paid conversion — and
improve efficiency at each stage.
- Manage budgets and pacing across channels, allocating spend toward the best-performing
segments and continuously improving CAC and ROAS.
- Design and run a steady cadence of experiments: audiences, creative, landing pages, bidding strategies, and offers.
- Partner with content and design to develop high-converting ad creative and landing pages; brief, test, and iterate quickly.
- Build and maintain campaign tracking, attribution, and dashboards; report on performance and translate data into clear next steps.
- Improve conversion rates across the self-serve funnel in collaboration with product and growth (signup flow, trial-to-paid, onboarding nudges).
- Manage retargeting and lifecycle-adjacent paid efforts to re-engage trials and free users.
- Stay close to the developer and technical-buyer audience to ensure messaging, targeting, and channels actually reach them.
- Evaluate and manage tools, agencies, and vendors where useful.
What we're looking for:
- 3–5 years of hands-on performance/growth marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or a
product-led (PLG) business.
- Proven track record managing meaningful paid budgets and hitting CAC, ROAS, and
pipeline/signup targets.
- Deep, practical expertise in Google Ads and paid social (Meta and/or LinkedIn); comfort setting up campaigns, structures, and bidding from scratch.
- Strong analytical skills — fluent in funnel metrics, attribution, and unit economics; comfortable in GA4 and other tracking tools.
- Solid grasp of tracking and measurement: UTMs, conversion tracking, pixels, server-side events, and attribution challenges.
- A rigorous experimentation mindset — you form hypotheses, test fast, and let data drive
decisions.
- Strong creative judgment; able to brief and evaluate ad creative and landing pages that convert.
- Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with product, content, design, and
leadership.
Bonus:
- Experience in marketing to developers or technical buyers.
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM interplay, CRO tools, and marketing automation.
- Comfort with SQL or spreadsheets for deeper analysis.
- Experience with self-serve/free-trial funnels and activation metrics.
- Exposure to global campaigns across multiple regions.
Education Requirement:
- Possess at least a BE/BTech or equivalent degree
- 3+ years of prior experience with a proven success track record in deal closure roles in a target-driven environment, ideally in CRM/Saas/High-Tech
- Excellent command of English (understanding, speaking, and writing)
