Performance Marketing Specialist – Digital Acquisition
Full-Time | Google Ads | Meta Ads | GoHighLevel | Analytics
We are looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team and work across multiple brands.
You will work under our Head of Customer Acquisition, supporting the execution, optimisation and continuous improvement of our digital customer-acquisition strategy.
This is a highly execution-focused role. We are looking for someone who enjoys working inside the accounts, analysing data, identifying patterns, implementing changes and making sure marketing actions are completed properly.
You won’t just report numbers — you’ll be expected to understand why performance is changing and what needs to happen next.
What You’ll Be Doing
Performance Marketing
* Work hands-on across Google Ads and Meta Ads
* Execute and optimise Search, Performance Max and other campaigns
* Monitor budgets, spend, leads, CPL, CPA and conversions
* Review keywords, search terms, negative keywords and audiences
* Assist with campaign builds, ad copy, assets and creative testing
* Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve or scale
* Monitor landing-page performance and conversion rates
* Execute agreed campaign changes and track their impact
* Identify patterns in performance and investigate why campaigns are improving or declining
GoHighLevel & Customer Journey
GoHighLevel (GHL) is an important part of this position.
You’ll help monitor and improve the complete customer journey, including:
* Lead flow and attribution
* Forms and integrations
* Opportunity pipelines
* Workflows and automations
* SMS and email automations
* Lead-source tracking
* CRM reporting
* Troubleshooting lead-flow issues
* Connecting marketing campaigns with actual sales outcomes
Our focus isn’t simply generating cheap leads.
We want to understand:
Ad Spend → Lead → Qualified Lead → Assessment → Proposal → Customer
You’ll help us identify which campaigns and channels are actually producing quality customers.
Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
You’ll work across GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and other reporting platforms to maintain visibility over performance.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining weekly and monthly performance reporting
* Tracking spend, leads, CPL, CPA and conversion rates
* Analysing campaign and channel performance
* Checking conversion tracking and attribution
* Identifying trends and unusual changes in performance
* Maintaining campaign change logs
* Recording tests and their results
* Turning data into clear actions and recommendations
We want someone who naturally asks:
What changed? Why did it change? What worked? What didn’t? What should we do next?
SOPs & Documentation
An important part of this role is helping us build a marketing system that is repeatable and scalable.
You’ll:
* Build and continuously update marketing SOPs
* Document Google Ads and Meta processes
* Document GoHighLevel workflows and processes
* Maintain campaign change logs
* Document tracking and attribution setups
* Record successful tests, learnings and optimisation patterns
* Keep marketing processes current as the business evolves
We don’t want SOPs created once and forgotten. Documentation should evolve alongside the marketing operation.
SEO, Google Business Profile & Website
While paid acquisition will be a major focus, you’ll also maintain visibility across the wider digital acquisition system.
This includes:
* SEO and organic performance
* Google Search Console
* Google Business Profile
* Website and landing-page performance
* Calls and form conversions
* Website tracking
* Coordinating with SEO, website and other marketing specialists
You don’t need to personally be the strongest specialist in every channel. However, you should understand what’s happening, monitor results and make sure agreed actions are executed.
Execution & Ownership
This is important.
We are looking for someone who gets things done.
If something needs to be implemented — whether that’s a Google Ads change, GHL workflow, tracking fix, landing-page update, reporting improvement, Meta campaign change or coordination with another specialist — we expect you to take ownership and follow it through to completion.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Customer Acquisition while gradually developing a deep understanding of how our entire acquisition system operates.
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have 3–5 years of hands-on digital/performance marketing experience with practical knowledge of:
* Google Ads — particularly Search and Performance Max
* Meta Ads
* GoHighLevel or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms
* GA4
* Google Tag Manager
* Conversion tracking
* Google Search Console
* Google Business Profile
* Excel / Google Sheets
* Marketing analytics and reporting
* Website and landing-page performance
The Right Person
You’ll suit this role if you are:
* Highly execution focused
* Analytical and naturally curious
* Strong at identifying patterns
* Highly organised
* Comfortable working with data
* Process and documentation driven
* Reliable and accountable
* Comfortable taking ownership
* Able to work independently
* Someone who follows tasks through to completion
We want someone who can investigate, understand, execute and improve — not someone who waits to be told every individual step.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 3–6 months, you should be able to confidently understand and execute our day-to-day digital marketing activities, identify meaningful performance patterns, maintain accurate reporting and SOPs, understand our GoHighLevel customer journey and clearly explain:
What’s working → What’s not → Why → What we should do next.
Why Join Us?
You’ll work closely with an experienced Head of Customer Acquisition and gain hands-on exposure to significant advertising budgets, high-volume lead generation, multiple growing brands and real customer acquisition data.
You’ll gain experience across Google Ads, Meta, GoHighLevel, analytics, SEO, Google Business Profile, websites, conversion tracking and the complete customer journey.
This is an opportunity to become deeply involved in how a growing Australian business builds, measures and scales its complete digital customer-acquisition engine.
