Job Description
The Performance Marketing Manager role is designed for a highly strategic, growth-driven marketer with deep expertise in scaling eCommerce and D2C brands. This role requires mastery over Meta and Google Ads, strong analytical and leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving high-impact performance campaigns. The individual will lead large brand accounts, own strategy end-to-end, manage a team, and ensure sustainable and profitable growth across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
● Develop full-funnel growth strategies for eCommerce and D2C brands across Meta, Google, and supporting channels.
● Build quarterly/annual growth roadmaps, aligning on budgets, funnels, and scaling milestones.
● Identify opportunities for scale, efficiency, and experimental growth across platforms.
● Provide strategic direction for creative messaging, hooks, and content required for scaling brands.
2. Performance Management & Optimization
● Oversee and guide the execution of high-budget campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display, Video, and Paid Social.
● Conduct deep performance audits to identify bottlenecks and implement optimization frameworks.
● Lead large-scale A/B testing across creatives, placements, audiences, and landing pages.
● Own ROAS, CAC, and revenue targets while ensuring cost efficiency and sustainable scaling.
3. Analytics, Forecasting & Insights
● Build advanced performance dashboards and insight-driven monthly/quarterly review decks.
● Interpret complex data to drive actionable strategies and next-step recommendations.
● Manage forecasting, budget allocation, pacing, and scenario planning.
● Ensure strong tracking hygiene through GA4, UTMs, tag setups, and attribution modeling.
4. Client Leadership & Business Ownership
● Act as the strategic partner for key D2C clients—representing Intent Farm’s expertise.
● Lead performance review calls, present insights, set expectations, and drive decision-making.
● Build long-term relationships based on transparency, growth, and data-driven recommendations.
● Consult clients on multi-channel marketing strategies beyond paid ads (CRO, retention, CRM, landing pages, creative direction).
5. Team Management & Mentorship
● Lead and mentor a team of performance marketers and associates.
● Define processes, optimization checklists, creative testing frameworks, and best practices.
● Conduct skill assessments, training sessions, and growth plans for team members.
● Ensure high-quality delivery, timely execution, and smooth cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
● 5–8 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with strong eCommerce/D2C experience.
● Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, especially Search + Shopping + Paid Social.
● Proven experience in scaling D2C brands from early-stage to multi-crore monthly revenue.
● Strong analytical acumen with proficiency in GA4, Looker Studio, and advanced Excel/Sheets.
● Expertise in funnel optimization, CRO, remarketing frameworks, and landing page performance.
● Ability to build and present high-level strategic plans and performance reviews.
● Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing high-performing teams.
● Excellent communication, client management, and decision-making abilities.
● Experience managing multiple accounts with high budgets in a fast-paced agency environment.
Good to Have
● Experience with Shopify, landing page tools, or CRO testing platforms.
● Knowledge of automation tools, scripts, or rule-based optimization.
● Exposure to influencer + paid media synergy strategies.
● Ability to contribute to agency growth through process creation and innovation.
