About Xboom:
Xboom is a bootstrapped, 25-person robotics company building across three domains — robots, drones, and underwater ROVs. We are the only Indian company credibly positioned across Land, Air and Water inspection and automation. ideaForge is air-only. Planys is water-only. Addverb is land-only. We are all three. We sell to enterprises (energy, infra, mining, agri, hospitality, defence) and to consumers (drones, FPV, FIFISH underwater, robo accessories) through xboom.in. We also run a fast-growing Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) business — survey, mapping, surveillance, agri spraying, facade cleaning, wind & solar inspection.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Paid Search & Shopping — Google Ads
- Plan, launch and scale Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, Discovery and YouTube campaigns across all three domains (drones, robots, underwater).
- Own the Google Merchant Center feed (Woo Product Feed Pro) — fix the 1,400+ SKU flags that came up in the May 2026 audit and keep the feed healthy month over month.
- Drive Shopping ROAS on xboom.in (drones, FIFISH ROVs, robo accessories, batteries, propellers, FPV).
- Run high-intent B2B Search for enterprise terms — "drone survey services", "thermal facade inspection", "ROV dam inspection", "warehouse robot India", etc.
2.Meta Ads — Facebook + Instagram
- Build full-funnel campaigns — prospecting, retargeting, lookalikes — for both B2C ecom and B2B lead-gen.
- Drive demo bookings and store conversions via Click-to-WhatsApp, Lead Forms and Catalog ads.
- Own creative briefing — work with the in-house content / video team to ship 8 – 12 fresh creatives every week.
- Set up and maintain Meta Conversions API (server-side tracking) for ROAS accuracy.
3.LinkedIn Ads — B2B Enterprise & Government
- Run Lead-Gen Forms, Conversation Ads and Sponsored Content targeting decision-makers in our 5 priority verticals: Energy & Utilities, Infrastructure; Construction, Mining & Heavy Industry, Agriculture and Hospitality.
- Build and feed ABM lists — coordinate with the Apollo.io outbound team (Bangalore reps, Goa territory) so paid air-cover matches outbound named accounts.
- Push xboom thought leadership — founder posts, case studies, customer wins — to convert organic LinkedIn reach into qualified pipeline.
4.YouTube — Brand + Performance
- Run TrueView, In-Stream, Bumper and Shorts campaigns — both for consumer demand (FPV, FIFISH) and B2B intent (inspection, survey, DaaS case studies).
- Partner with the video team on hooks, ad cut-downs and YouTube-specific creative.
- Use YouTube as the top-of-funnel volume engine — feed Search and Meta retargeting pools.
5.WhatsApp Marketing — Ads + Business API + Retention
- Own end-to-end WhatsApp as a channel: Click-to-WhatsApp Ads (Meta + Google) on the acquisition side, plus WhatsApp Business API for broadcasts, automation flows, and retention.
- Select and own the WhatsApp Business Solution Provider (WATI / AiSensy / Gupshup / Interakt or equivalent) — manage template approvals, opt-in compliance, and rate-limit quality.
- Build broadcast sequences for product launches, new SKU drops, FIFISH demo days, DaaS service offers, and govt tender windows.
- Automate the critical flows: lead-captured → demo-booking, RFQ-submitted → status updates, order- placed → delivery + post-sale, and ecom cart-abandonment recovery on xboom.in.
- Segment by buyer type — enterprise vs consumer vs DaaS-only — so we never send a consumer drone promo to an oil-and-gas inspection lead.
- Run weekly A/B tests on copy, CTAs and template format. Report open / click / conversion rates by template.
6.Email Marketing — Lifecycle, Nurture, Newsletter
- Own everything post-capture: welcome series, post-MQL B2B nurture (drone, robot, underwater tracks), post-purchase, win-back, re-engagement, and the monthly xboom newsletter.
- Build B2C ecom lifecycle on xboom.in — cart abandonment, browse abandonment, post-purchase cross-sell (drone → propellers / batteries / accessories), subscription / accessory replenishment.
- Run the monthly xboom newsletter (founder POV, customer wins, product launches, DaaS case studies, industry insights) — target Open >35%, CTR >4%.
- Select and own the marketing-automation stack — Klaviyo (ecom) + HubSpot / ActiveCampaign (B2B nurture), or a single platform if one fits both. You make the call.
- Deliverability — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up, list hygiene, sender reputation. Zero complacency: a blocked domain costs us a quarter.
- Boundary with sales: Apollo + sales reps own cold prospecting. You own everything after the lead lands. Same inbox, different rules — you define them.
7.Channels you will add as they earn it
- Quora Ads — high-intent B2B niches (e.g. "best ROV for dam inspection", "drone for solar field").
- Marketplace ads — Amazon Sponsored Products, Flipkart Ads for the accessories & FPV catalogue.
- Programmatic / Display (DV360 or equivalent) once the always-on funnel is healthy.
- Retargeting & CRM remarketing — feed Apollo CRM segments back into Google/Meta custom audiences.
Qualification:
• 3–5 years of hands-on performance marketing experience across Google, Meta & LinkedIn Ads.
• Strong expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, GTM, Conversion API & attribution tracking.
• Experience managing ₹30L+ monthly ad spend with proven ROAS/CPL outcomes.
• Hands-on experience in WhatsApp marketing, email automation & lifecycle campaigns.
• Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, WATI, AiSensy, Interakt, etc.
• Strong understanding of email deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and campaign troubleshooting.
• Experience in both B2C ecommerce and B2B lead generation campaigns.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with media planning & forecasting ability.
• Strong creative and campaign optimisation mindset.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore; this is a full-time on-site role at Xboom.
