About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Performance Marketing Lead to take ownership of our client acquisition efforts from end to end. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment and is passionate about driving tangible revenue outcomes. As Performance Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for scaling paid advertising channels, developing innovative creative strategies, and implementing rigorous testing protocols to optimize campaign performance. You will work directly with the founder, operating with a high level of ownership, strategic thinking, and accountability to achieve aggressive growth targets. This is a full-time remote contract position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients’ growth trajectories.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in performance or growth marketing, specifically with a proven track record in acquisition for eCommerce brands. You should have extensive hands-on experience managing advertising campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, and TikTok, including running app campaigns focused on installs and in-app events. Familiarity with Amazon advertising is a plus. You must demonstrate the ability to scale acquisition efforts while maintaining cost-per-acquisition (CAC) targets and optimizing return on ad spend (ROAS). A strong creative instinct, coupled with experience managing high-volume creative testing workflows, is essential. Additionally, you should be comfortable owning the full creative cycle from ideation to execution and testing, as well as possessing a solid understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console. Technical proficiency in tracking setup, troubleshooting pixels, events, attribution, and resolving tracking issues proactively is critical. Candidates should be comfortable working independently within a lean environment, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, execution excellence, and high accountability.
Responsibilities
The Performance Marketing Lead will be responsible for a comprehensive set of tasks aimed at maximizing acquisition performance:
- Own the entire acquisition performance process across paid and organic channels, ensuring alignment with overall growth objectives.
- Strategically plan, launch, and optimize advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta, Google (Search and YouTube), and TikTok, continuously refining targeting and messaging for optimal results.
- Manage and scale app campaigns focused on user installs and in-app events, ensuring alignment with growth KPIs.
- Develop and execute organic social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement, with a focus on performance metrics.
- Handle campaign setup, budget allocation, performance tracking, and ongoing optimization to maximize ROI.
- Lead the creative process from sourcing ideas and briefing designers to executing and testing creative assets across platforms.
- Establish and maintain a robust creative testing pipeline that aligns with platform algorithms and industry best practices.
- Implement a rigorous testing, measurement, and iteration process to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Analyze user behavior and campaign data using tools like GA and Search Console to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Take ownership of tracking setup, ensuring pixels, conversion events, and attribution models are accurate and functioning correctly.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any tracking or attribution issues to maintain data integrity.
- Manage advertising budgets with a focus on efficiency, contribution to profitability, and achievement of performance goals.
- Collaborate closely with the founder to define priorities, review performance metrics, and refine growth strategies.
- Stay informed about platform updates, industry trends, and emerging best practices to keep campaigns innovative and competitive.
Benefits
