Brief Job Description
At No Fluff, we do not believe in surface-level marketing. We are looking for a Performance Marketing Executive who is eager to learn, execute, and grow in paid media on Google Ads.
This is a full-time, in-office position at our Mumbai (Bandra) workspace and is ideal for someone who is hands-on in Google Ads and GA4, comfortable working with data, and wants to deepen their craft in keyword strategy, bidding, and funnel-based optimisation.
What You Will Be Doing
Campaign Strategy and Execution
- Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns on Google Ads across Search, Display and YouTube, with exposure to Shopping, Performance Max, and Demand Gen.
- Contribute to hard business outcomes: lead generation, D2C outreach, website traffic, conversions, and brand lift.
- Build precise targeting strategies using keyword research, search intent, custom audiences, in-market and affinity segments, remarketing lists, and customer match.
- Structure campaigns across the full funnel (Awareness → Consideration → Conversion → Retention).
- Apply advanced bidding strategies: Manual CPC, Smart Bidding, Target CPA, Max Conversions, etc.
- Own keyword strategy end-to-end: research, match-type planning, negative keyword lists, search term mining, and Quality Score optimisation.
- Use Google Auction Insights and SEMrush (or similar) to track competitor activity and surface insights.
- Work closely with creatives to deliver responsive search ads, display creatives, YouTube video ads, and landing pages - no fluff, no fillers.
Performance and Optimisation
- Monitor and optimise campaigns daily to hit sharp KPIs: CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, Conversion Rate, and Quality Score.
- Run structured A/B tests on ad copy, headlines, RSA assets, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience segments using Google Ads Experiments and Drafts.
- Build and maintain clear performance dashboards using GA4, Google Ads reporting and internal tools.
- Stay current with Google Ads platform updates, algorithm shifts, and new features (PMax, Demand Gen, AI-powered bidding).
- Manage Google Ads budgets with a focus on efficiency, pacing, and returns.
Collaboration and Learning
- Brief the creative and content teams on ad copy, headlines, RSA assets, and video scripts aligned with Google Ads best practices.
- Work closely with senior performance marketers to understand scaling strategy, account structure, and optimisation logic.
- Participate in internal reviews, learning sessions, and performance discussions to sharpen craft and contribute ideas.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years managing performance campaigns across Google Ads.
- Documented success with hard KPIs - e.g., CPL under ₹300, or ROAS above 4x on D2C accounts.
- Strong command of Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube).
- Comfortable with GA4, Google Tag Manager basics, and UTM tagging.
- Experience contributing to campaigns with monthly budgets of ₹1L+ with high accountability.
- Clear communicator who can present data, insights, and decisions to internal teams without fluff.
- Sharp analytical thinking: can cut through data and identify what matters.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or similar.
- Certification in Google Ads is a strong plus.
