We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive - Performance and Retention who can drive growth for a B2C/D2C mobile app by owning both user acquisition and lifecycle marketing.
The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following
Retention and Lifecycle Marketing:
- Own end-to-end lifecycle marketing using CleverTap.
- Build and optimize automated funnels for: User onboarding and activation, Drop-off recovery (e. g., incomplete actions, payments).
- Engagement and habit formation.
- Re-engagement and win-back campaigns.
Set Up And Manage
- Push notifications, in-app messages, email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
- Perform advanced user segmentation, cohort analysis, and personalization.
- Improve key metrics: D1 D7 D30 retention; DAU/MAU; repeat usage.
Funnel Optimization And Automation
- Map the full user journey: Install Signup Key Action Conversion Retention, Identify drop-offs and fix them using:, Behavioral triggers, Event-based automation
- Personalized communication flows.
- Continuously run A/B tests on messaging, timing, and channels.
User Acquisition
- Manage and optimize campaigns across:
- Google Ads (UAC/App Campaigns preferred) and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram).
- Focus on acquiring high-quality users aligned with retention and LTV.
- Work closely with the retention strategy to improve overall ROAS.
Analytics And Experimentation
- Work with tools like Firebase, GA4 AppsFlyer, or Mixpanel.
- Define and track key events: Measure funnel performance and run continuous experiments.
Key Metrics Ownership
- Retention (D1 D7 D30).
- Activation Rate and Funnel Conversion Rates.
- DAU/MAU and User Engagement.
- LTV and Repeat Conversion.
- ROAS (in collaboration with paid campaigns).
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CleverTap (campaigns, journeys, segmentation, automation).
- Experience working on B2C or D2C mobile apps.
- Strong understanding of user lifecycle and retention strategies.
- Basic to intermediate experience in Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
Good To Have
- Experience with MoEngage or similar tools,
- Experience in fintech, mobility, e-commerce, or high-frequency apps,
- Understanding of Tier 2/3 user behaviour and vernacular communication,
